Steven Bayliss

Steve Bayliss has worked in the IP industry since 1988. He has worked in private practice and in-house legal teams as well as for database vendors. Steve has been at OUI since 2007. Working in the Operations Team, he is responsible for coordinating all patent a licence administration, and compliance including acting as Data Protection Officer.

Rachel Grovenor

Rachel Grovenor is a UK Chartered and European qualified patent attorney, specialising in mechanical, electronic and chemical fields. She worked in private practice and in-house legal teams in the UK and in Europe, before joining OUI as a Licensing and Ventures Manager in 2021. Rachel now supports academics across the Engineering, Materials and Physics departments with licensing technologies to industry, supporting translational funding applications and working together with academics starting their own spinout companies.”
